PAULINE BARCLAY

Pauline Barclay

Born at the tail end of 1953 in Bradford, West Yorkshire, the eldest of four. At the end of 1968 we all moved to Suffolk. Many years later, with my husband, I went to live in Surrey, then Holland and now we live with our little dog on the beautiful island of Lanzarote in the Canary Isles.

Back in the mid eighties, I studied with the Open University and six years after losing my evening, nights and weekends to course work, I was awarded a BA (Hons) degree in 1992.

After graduating, I realised just how many extra hours I had in a day, even with my full time job, that I started writing. Back in those days, it was short stories, years later, I started to write full length novels.

Magnolia House is the first novel I have had published, my second novel, Satchfield Hall will be available this month, April.

I hope you enjoyed Magnolia House and that you will take a look at Satchfield Hall.

Until next time, best wishes to you.
